Q. How do I enter contests or request tickets?
A. Once registered, members can enter contests right here on the Sun Insider website. It’s easy! Just click on the button under the contest or event. You’ll see your name and address and a button to confirm your request. Each contest or ticket request must be made individually. Only one member request can be entered at a time.
Q. What if my name is spelled wrong or other information is not correct?
A. Members can correct any error in their account information by calling customer service at 888-539-1280 or on our customer website, www.baltimoresun.com/subscriberservices then, in about 24 hours you’ll automatically see the change on the Sun Insider site.
Q. How do I change my email address?
A. If you are logged into the site, first log out by clicking “logout” in the upper right corner of the site. Then type your new email address in the box under “Already registered” and click “Enter”. We’ll ask you a few brief questions to confirm your account and your old email address will be replaced by your new email address. PLEASE also contact customer service at 888-539-1280 and make sure it is the same email that you have registered with us.
Q. How will I know about member events, tickets and discounts?
A. Contests, ticket offerings and events will be posted each week on the Sun Insider website.
Q. How often can members enter contests and request tickets?
A. As often as you like! If you win a Grand Prize in a contest or at an event, you cannot win another Grand Prize for a six month period. Of course, you can still win tickets and other great prizes.
Q. Can I bring a guest who is not a member to a Sun Insider event?
A. Yes, please do. Most events offer each member 2 tickets. On occasion there are more. You may bring whomever you wish as your guest, however, only members are eligible for prize drawings.
Q. What if I win tickets to an event but find that I cannot attend?
A. If you find you can not attend, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that the tickets may be offered to another member. As event tickets are always limited, we do keep a waiting list and another member will appreciate your thoughtfulness. If you choose to pass your tickets along to a friend, please contact our office and provide the names of the guests who will be attending in your place. Please let them know that they will not be eligible for any contests or drawings at the event.
There are occasional events and sweepstakes that are NOT transferable due to a variety of reasons. Please be sure and refer to each sweepstake’s rules. Also, EVERY prize valued at over $600 is non-transferable.
